About Ozhiaki
Ozhiaki Labs builds a vibe-coding ecosystem โ tools that turn prompts into production apps. Our work spans evaluation, inference, and spooling infrastructure, released as a family of composable command-line tools.
The name
Ozhiaki (oh-zhee-AH-kee) is a portmanteau from the Chippewa/Ojibwe language: ozhi ("make, build, form") andaki ("earth, land, ground") โ an "earth builder" or "world creator."
Ojibwe is an Indigenous language of the Great Lakes region with roughly a thousand speakers remaining, primarily in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We use the name with respect and acknowledge its source: the Ojibwe People's Dictionary at the University of Minnesota. Our infrastructure services follow the same convention โ for example Ganawend ("protect, keep") for secrets management.
What we value
- Speed โ idea to deployed app in under an hour.
- Quality โ production-ready, not prototypes.
- Honesty โ clear about what's automatic and what isn't.
